A convenient recipe when guests are on the doorstep and there is no time to be smart with a treat. You can easily bake such a cake for breakfast if you make the dough in the evening and send it to the refrigerator for the night.

- - flour - 3 glasses
- - salt - 1 tsp
- - sugar - 3 tsp.
- - yeast - 1 tsp
- - icing sugar - 1 tablespoon

Step 1
Mix warm milk of any fat content with dry baker's yeast, granulated sugar and salt. Gradually add general purpose wheat flour, stirring with a whisk, so that no lumps form. Leave the dough for 15 to 30 minutes. Can be left on the table by simply covering the bowl with a lid or towel. The dough will become fluffy, airy, porous. This time can be used to prepare the filling.
Step 2
To do this, you need to take any fruit: apples, pears, plums or quince or others. Make mashed potatoes from fresh peeled fruits using a blender or grate the pulp on a fine grater, mix with sugar, put on medium or low heat. Cook for about 5 minutes. If necessary, you can add a little water so that the mass does not burn.
Step 3
Pour the finished dough into one large mold or two smaller molds (26 centimeters), pour the prepared fruit jam on top. Try to pour the jam evenly, it is better to do it with a spoon, because nothing will work out to smooth. Put the mold in the oven, preheating it to a temperature of 180 - 200 degrees.
Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Step 4
Serve the fruit pie both warm and cold. You can also serve whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream with baked goods. Sprinkle with icing sugar when serving.
The texture of such a cake is vaguely reminiscent of clafoutis: tender omelet dough and a lot of filling.
