Pelmeni is a traditional Russian dish. They are prepared from dough with different fillings (mainly meat). It is worth noting that there are analogues of dumplings in almost every kitchen. For example, in Italy these are ravioli and tortellini, in China - jiao tzu, baozi, wontons. You can make delicious dumplings yourself.
Meat dumplings
Structure:
- 1 liter of water;
- 500 g of wheat flour;
- 200 g of pork;
- 200 g of beef;
- 1 onion, egg;
- pepper, salt, green onions.
Peel the onion, cut into four parts, mince the meat fillet. Salt and pepper the minced meat, mix.
Knead the tough egg, flour, salt dough in a deep container, 2, 5 tbsp. tablespoons of plain water. Roll out the dough into a thin layer, cut out circles, put a small amount of minced meat on each, form dumplings.
Boil the dumplings in boiling water, sprinkle the finished dish with chopped onions.
Siberian dumplings
Structure:
- 500 g of wheat flour;
- 300 ml of water;
- 1 egg;
- salt to taste.
Ingredients for minced meat:
- 200 g of beef and pork fillets;
- 2 onions;
- salt, pepper, spices.
For refueling:
- 150 ml sour cream.
Rinse the meat, separate the pulp from the bones, if any, pass through a meat grinder with onions, add salt, pepper, your favorite spices (for example, dried garlic).
Knead the dough, roll it into a layer, cut out the circles. Place the filling on each circle (1 teaspoon), connect the edges of the dumplings.
Put the dumplings in boiling water, cook for 7 minutes, season the finished dumplings with sour cream, serve immediately.
