Rolls with mackerel

Recently, rolls are very popular. Various ingredients are used for the filling. The homemade version with mackerel is delicious and nutritious. To prepare the roll you will need:

  • salted mackerel - 1 pc.;
  • fresh cucumber - 1 pc.;
  • rice - 200 g;
  • nori sheets - 7 pcs.;
  • plain or rice vinegar - 20-30 ml;
  • wasabi, pickled ginger, soy sauce to taste.

A step-by-step recipe consists of the following steps:

  1. First step. Rinse the rice in cold water, put it in a saucepan and cover with liquid, add a small pinch of salt. Observe the ratio of 1: 1, then the rice will turn out to be crumbly. Place the pot on high heat, and when the water boils, reduce it to low. Cook the rice under the lid for about 10 minutes until the liquid is completely boiled. When it cools down, pour the vinegar over it.
  2. Second step. Use a knife to remove the head, tail and fins from the mackerel. Make a cut along the ridge and remove the skin. Remove all bones and cut the fillets into thin strips. A little trick - to better cut the fish into strips, put it in the freezer before cooking.
  3. Third step. Wash and peel the cucumber, cut it into thin slices.
  4. Fourth step. On a special bamboo mat, place the nori sheets with the shiny side down and the matte side up. Place 2 tablespoons of rice on the side. Place a few strips of cucumber and fish on it. Using a rug, wrap the nori sheets tightly in the sausage. Slice the sausage across into small portions and place on a plate with the pickled ginger and wasabi next to it. The rolls are ready to eat.

Soup with mackerel in a slow cooker

Fish should be present in every person's daily diet. You can make a delicious, and most importantly, healthy soup from it. This dish can be attributed to dietary food. It is especially suitable for those people who do not eat meat.

To make the soup, you will need the following products:

  • canned mackerel - 1 can;
  • medium-sized potatoes - 3 pcs.;
  • onions - 1 pc.;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • bell pepper - 1 pc.;
  • drinking water - 2 liters;
  • salt and spices to taste;
  • greens - a small bunch.

Open the can of canned food, cut the mackerel into cubes and transfer to the multicooker bowl.

Wash all vegetables thoroughly. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes and transfer to a multicooker container. Chop the peeled onions, and cut the carrots and bell peppers into small cubes. Send all vegetables to the multicooker bowl. Season with salt and spices to taste. Fill all ingredients with water and stir with a wooden spatula. Set the Soup mode and the cooking time is 1 hour. When the soup is done, add the chopped herbs to it. Serve hot or warm.

Instead of canned mackerel, fresh fish can be used. You can also add rice to the soup if desired. Then the dish will turn out to be more rich and satisfying.

Oven-cooked mackerel

Oven-baked fish is an interesting option for a light dinner. The dish turns out to be low-calorie and nutritious. Baked mackerel is good both hot and cold. To prepare it, you need the following ingredients:

  • fresh mackerel - 2 pcs.;
  • onions - 2 pcs.;
  • carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • freshly squeezed lemon juice - 15 ml;
  • hard cheese - 150 g;
  • salt and spices - a small pinch.

Rinse the mackerel and remove the head, tail and fins, entrails. Pour lemon juice over the fish and then rub with a mixture of salt and spices. Place the mackerel in your sleeve. Cut the peeled onions into half rings and place them on top of the fish. Peel the carrots, grate them on a coarse grater and add them to the chopped onions.

Tie a sleeve and send it to the oven preheated to 200 degrees. Cook the fish for 20-25 minutes. During this time, grind the hard cheese with a grater. Then remove the mackerel from the oven and cut open the sleeve, sprinkle the fish with cheese. Place the baking sheet in the oven again for another 15-20 minutes. Serve cooked fish with fresh herbs.

An easy-to-prepare salad will not take long, and the dish will turn out to be delicious for the whole family. To prepare it, you will need:

  • canned mackerel - 1 can;
  • potatoes - 2-3 pieces;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • white onion - 1 pc.;
  • chicken eggs - 2-3 pcs.;
  • hard cheese - 150 g;
  • mayonnaise - 150 g;
  • greens to taste.

Open the can of canned food, drain the liquid, and chop the mackerel with a knife.

Boil potatoes, carrots and eggs. Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes. Peel the rest of the ingredients and chop them with a knife or in any convenient way. Food should be cut so that they are approximately the same size.

Wash thoroughly and chop the herbs finely. You can use green onions, dill, or parsley. Layer the ingredients in alternating layers until you run out of food. Top the salad with grated cheese and sprigs of herbs. Lubricate each layer with mayonnaise. Let the salad soak well before serving. It must be stored in the refrigerator.
