Surprise your guests with spicy and tender meats in a honey pumpkin. The dish turns out to be very aromatic and juicy. Be prepared for your guests to ask for more.

It is necessary
- - 3 pumpkins (preferably "Butternut" variety);
- - 6 pcs. chicken drumsticks;
- - 1 stalk of leeks;
- - 100 g of dried apricots;
- - ½ tbsp. rice;
- - 6 cloves of garlic;
- - 1-2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- - 50-70 g of butter;
- - salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the chicken drumsticks. In a skillet, combine vegetable oil and 30 g butter. Fry the meat in this mixture over low heat, pre-salt and pepper it. Cook the drumsticks on each side for at least 5 minutes.
Step 2
Then remove the legs from the pan and fry the chopped leeks and crushed garlic instead.
Step 3
Boil rice in salted water and add butter to it. Cut dried apricots into thin strips.
Step 4
Wash the pumpkin, cut it in half and remove the seeds. Remove the pulp from the pumpkin so that the walls are 1-2 cm thick. Put rice with chicken in the pumpkin, and put the drumsticks on top and press them a little into the rice.
Step 5
Wrap each pumpkin in foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 2 hours.
