Instructions

Step 1

First of all, we put the dough by dissolving the yeast in 296 ml of lukewarm water and adding 516 g of flour. Mix thoroughly and leave in a warm place for two and a half hours.

Meanwhile, boil the beets (you can also bake) and cool. Rub on a fine grater. Melt margarine in the microwave or in a water bath. Cool it down.

Stir salt and sugar in the remaining water, add grated beets, pour in the prepared dough, add the remaining flour and knead the dough. Mix thoroughly and add melted and cooled margarine in about 5 minutes after the start of kneading. Mix again and leave to rise in a warm place without drafts for another two and a half hours.

Step 4
