Arancini, which means small oranges, is a stuffed rice ball native to Sicily. I suggest you cook them with cheese.
It is necessary
- - Arborio rice - 250 g;
- - eggs - 3 pcs.;
- - vegetable oil - 100 ml;
- - bread crumbs - 75 g;
- - wheat flour - 75 g;
- - Mozzarella cheese - 1 pc.;
- - butter - 50 g;
- - Russian cheese - 50 g;
- - green onions - 20 g;
- - salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
After thoroughly rinsing the arborio rice, put it to cook, but not until the end, but only until half cooked. When the cereal is cooked to the desired state, cool it down, then mix with the following ingredients: the largest-sized "Russian" grated cheese, as well as two raw eggs along with butter. Salt the formed mass to your liking. Mix all the components of this mixture with each other properly.
Step 2
After lightly drying the Mozzarella cheese, chop it into small enough pieces. Finely chop the green onion with a knife.
Step 3
Divide the rice mass into equal parts and roll them into balls, the size of which is slightly larger than a chicken egg. After turning the resulting figurines into flat cakes, place on each piece of Mozzarella and a small amount of finely chopped green onions. Shape the spherical shapes so that the cheese filling is inside.
Step 4
Distribute ingredients such as wheat flour, bread crumbs, and a raw chicken egg into different cups.
Step 5
Using a deep skillet, heat a large amount of sunflower oil in it. Fry the resulting balls until a golden brown hue is formed, first roll them in flour, then in a slightly beaten raw egg and only then in breadcrumbs.
Step 6
After removing excess fat from the surface of the dish with a paper towel, serve it to the table. Arancini with cheese is ready!
