Arancini is an Italian dish made of small rice balls with minced meat or cheese, which are rolled in breadcrumbs and deep-fried.
It is necessary
- 100 g of boiled rice
- 100 g minced pork
- 50 g bread crumbs
- ½ onion
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for deep fat
- 50 g tomato sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the onion, wash, chop finely and add to the minced meat. Add pepper, salt to the minced meat and stir with a spatula. Divide all ingredients into bowls.
Step 2
Form a ball of minced meat with a diameter of 2 cm and paste over it with rice. Boiled rice is very sticky, so there will be no difficulties with this.
Step 3
Dip the balls in the breadcrumbs. The breading will stick well to the rice in a thin layer, which is what we need.
Step 4
Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan and put it on fire. When the oil has warmed up, dip the balls into it. You can check the readiness of the oil by throwing a grain of rice - it should sizzle. If arancini is immersed in poorly heated oil, they will be very greasy and oily. Fry the balls until golden brown and transfer to a plate.
