Instructions
Step 1
Caribbean Pork Chops
Use a blender or food processor to combine the water, lemon juice, onions, sugar, green onions, oil, salt, cinnamon, black pepper, thyme, and cayenne pepper. Whisk until smooth. Place the pork chops in a shallow glass dish and top with the cooked marinade. Refrigerate the chops for at least 12 hours, but no more than 24 hours. Grill pork chops until tender, turning them constantly.
Step 2
Classic pork chops
Melt the butter in a skillet. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Fry them on both sides until brown, about 4 minutes on each side. Spread the sliced potatoes at the same time in a greased dish. In a small bowl, combine the chicken stock and milk. Pour this mixture over the top of the potatoes. Place the fried pork chops on top of the potatoes and cook in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about one hour.
Step 3
Stuffed pork chops
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and season with dried thyme. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the pork chops on each side for 8 minutes until golden brown. Fry the onions and grated apple separately in butter, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes until softened. Add water, stir well and cook until all water has evaporated, about 5 minutes. Spread the resulting mixture on top of each chop and bake in a preheated 200 degrees oven until tender.
Step 4
Beer-stewed pork chops
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the chops on both sides for 8 minutes until crusty. Add onions to the meat and cook, stirring occasionally, for another 3 minutes. Add beer and bring to a boil over high heat. Then reduce heat and cook, covered, for 45-60 minutes, until chops are done.
