If you want to pleasantly surprise your loved ones or guests on New Year's Eve, try to cook an original dish - meat balls in bacon. You can serve this dish as a separate hot dish or offer it as a delicious cold appetizer.
It is necessary
- - 600 g lean pork
- - 100 g champignons
- - 1 onion
- - 50 g heavy cream
- - 150 g bacon (preferably sliced)
- - 1 egg
- - ground black pepper
- - ground white pepper
- - dried dill
- - fresh parsley (for serving)
- - fresh dill (for serving)
- - salt
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse fresh mushrooms well, dry and chop finely. Peel and chop the onions.
Step 2
Heat sunflower oil in a skillet and put onion and mushrooms on it. Fry for a few minutes with constant stirring, until the juice from the mushrooms has boiled away.
Step 3
Pass the pork meat through a meat grinder. Gently cut the bacon into thin strips.
Step 4
Combine the resulting minced pork with fried mushrooms and onions, cool. Add raw chicken egg and dried dill, season with salt. Pour cream into the total mass, sprinkle with ground black and white pepper. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 5
Form small balls from the resulting minced meat, periodically wetting your hands with water. Wrap each of them in bacon and stab with a toothpick.
Step 6
Grease a baking dish and put prepared balls in it. Preheat the oven to a temperature of about 180 degrees.
Step 7
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20-30 minutes. If you wish, you can put a mixture of mayonnaise with grated cheese on top of the balls and bake - it turns out beautifully, nutritious and tasty.
Step 8
Put the finished balls on a wide plate, when serving, decorate the dish with sprigs of fresh parsley and dill.
