For cooking porridge, it is better to choose a bright orange pumpkin, already peeled and seedless, washed and dried. Grate the pulp of the prepared pumpkin on a coarse grater, then put the chopped pumpkin in a saucepan, cauldron or saucepan with a thick bottom, pour hot water. After putting the pan on high heat, bring the contents to a boil. After that, boil the pumpkin over low heat for one or two minutes. At the same time, the vegetable should not be boiled, but only become slightly softer than the raw one. Pour medium to large oatmeal into a saucepan of boiling mass.
It is better not to take small flakes, as they will quickly boil over and the desired effect will not be obtained.
Step 2
Add immediately or together with the flakes, coconut or chopped seeds, nuts in proportions to your liking, and add pitted prunes, cut into small cubes. Bring the resulting mixture to a boil. Immediately remove the saucepan from the heat and cover. The porridge will be ready in about 5-10 minutes. Now you can sweeten the porridge with honey to taste and add coconut oil.

This oatmeal is a great breakfast for fasting vegans. Such porridge is appropriate in the diet of people suffering from such endocrine disorders as any degree of obesity or diabetes mellitus.
