It is necessary

    • 250 g shrimp
    • 1 liter of water
    • 3 potatoes
    • 1 tomato
    • 2 cloves of garlic
    • 2-3 bay leaves
    • 1 onion
    • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 3 tbsp spoons of rice
    • 1 tbsp tomato paste
    • sprig of dill
    • sprig of cilantro
    • salt
    • pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare shrimp. If they are frozen, place them in a heat-resistant container and place them in the microwave to defrost. When the shrimps are thawed, peel them off. It's a painstaking business, so be patient!

Step 2

Prepare the pot. Put it on the stove, turn on the heat, add water, bring to a boil and add the shrimp you peeled.

Step 3

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut it into cubes. Throw in soup.

Step 4

Cut the tomato into small wedges. Chop the garlic very finely or use a special garlic press. Chop fresh dill. Place the chopped vegetables in the shrimp pot. Add bay leaves. Stir.

Step 5

Take a separate small frying pan, pour vegetable oil into it, put it on the stove. Chop the onions and place them in the skillet. Fry until light golden brown. When the onion is ready, pour it into the bulk.

Step 6

Place tomato paste in a saucepan. Mix thoroughly again.

Step 7

Prepare rice. To do this, use your fingers to sort through it, removing unnecessary debris. Collect the rice in a bowl and rinse it with clean running water until it is completely clear. Throw it into the pot as well.

Step 8

Chop the cilantro into small pieces and toss it back into the pot.

Step 9

Season with salt and pepper according to your taste. Cook over medium heat until cooked through, stirring constantly. Depending on the number of servings and the desired consistency, you can add hot water to the soup.

Step 10

When the soup is ready, remove it from the stove and set it to cool. Pour the chilled soup into nice deep bowls or bouillon bowls. For beauty and extra taste, put 1 teaspoon of sour cream or mayonnaise in each and garnish with fresh dill or other herbs of your choice. Bon Appetit!
