We remember the unusual sweetness - roasted nuts - from childhood. The recipe is very simple. Even inexperienced housewives can make a delicacy.
For cooking you will need:
- 200 g pumpkin seeds, - 200 g sugar, - 100 ml of liquid honey, - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 30 g butter, - 100 g of dark chocolate, - sea salt of medium grinding.
- Fry 150 g pumpkin seeds over medium heat, stirring constantly with a spatula. In a saucepan, combine 100 ml of water, sugar and honey. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add pumpkin seeds to the boiling mixture. Stir constantly for 10-15 minutes to keep them from sticking to the bottom.
- Reduce heat slightly, add vanilla extract, baking soda and butter. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the hot mixture quickly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a wooden spoon to spread it out evenly. Wait until the brittle is completely hardened at room temperature.
- Then break the hardened layer into small pieces 4-6 cm in size. Melt the chocolate in a water bath or in a microwave oven (at medium power).
- Grind 50 g pumpkin seeds in a blender and transfer the mixture to a bowl. Dip each piece of roasted nuts in liquid chocolate, then dip in a bowl of seeds. Sprinkle with a few grains of sea salt. Then wait until the chocolate is completely frozen and serve.
