In Russian cuisine, this dish is called julienne with meat and mushrooms. The word "julienne" or "julienne" came to us from French cuisine, where it means a special way of cutting vegetables - into strips or thin rings (depending on the type of vegetables). We began to call a dish of mushrooms baked with sour cream and cheese as a julienne. Meat with mushrooms in pots is one of the varieties of mushroom julienne.

Then pour some water into a saucepan and simmer the meat for 30-40 minutes, until it becomes tender. Add water to the skillet as it evaporates to prevent the meat from burning. You can also use veal or chicken instead of pork. If you decide to use chicken fillet, then simmer it for about 10-15 minutes.

Cut the champignons into 0.2-0.3 cm slices. Chop the onion into small cubes. Stir the mushrooms and onions and place in a well-heated skillet with vegetable oil. When water starts to come out of the mushrooms, cover the skillet with a lid and simmer the mushrooms for about 10-15 minutes. Then remove the lid, salt and pepper the mushrooms, mix everything thoroughly. Fry the mushrooms for 5 minutes. Then add butter and flour to the mushrooms, mix everything again and fry the mushrooms for another 5 minutes.

Now put the meat with mushrooms in the pots, add sour cream and mix everything. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top. You do not need to cover the pots with lids. Put the meat with mushrooms in pots in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes. You can serve rice or boiled potatoes as a garnish for julienne of meat and mushrooms.
