Peach cinnamon biscuits - delicate, tasty, fruity. Instead of peaches, any other hard fruits are also suitable - apples, pears, apricots, nectarines, grapes. Baking is similar to a cake, but it is enough to cut into small squares and a huge crust turns into a cookie.
It is necessary
- - 1 cup of sugar
- - 1 teaspoon baking powder
- - 2 3/4 cups flour + 2 tablespoons
- - 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- - 1/4 teaspoon salt
- - 1 glass of butter
- - 1 large egg
- - 2 peaches
Instructions
Step 1
First, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. The oil will begin to melt, foam, then turn transparent golden and finally brown and nutty. Stir frequently, and make sure that the mass does not burn. Then place the butter in the freezer until it hardens (about 30 minutes).
Step 2
If you don't have enough time to melt, then just use ordinary softened butter.
Step 3
Take a 22 x 33 cm baking dish and coat with vegetable oil.
Step 4
Whisk the granulated sugar, baking powder, flour, salt and spices in a bowl. Add hardened butter and egg. Mix well with your hands. The dough should be crumbly.
Step 5
Separate 3/4 of the finished dough. Press this part of the dough firmly to the bottom of the prepared form.
Step 6
Wash the peaches and remove the pits. Then cut the pulp into thin slices. Place the slices neatly on the dough in one layer.
Step 7
Scatter the remaining dough over the peaches and bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 30 minutes, until the top of the cookie turns golden brown.
Step 8
Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
