The nut cookies we are talking about are quick and easy to prepare, quite attractive and very tasty. The crunchy dough consists of thin plates, honey syrup gives the dish aroma and special taste. Nuts, in addition to the additional taste, do not allow fingers to get dirty, serving as a kind of protective layer.
It is necessary
- For sticks:
- - nuts - 1 glass;
- - yeast-free dough - 250 g.
- For syrup:
- - water - 1 tbsp.;
- - honey - 1 tablespoon;
- - sugar - 1/4 cup.

Step 1
Roll out the puff pastry into layers up to 3 millimeters thick and cut into strips. The most convenient way to cut is with a round pizza knife.
Step 2
Line a baking sheet with baking paper and transfer the strips of dough to it. Bake in the oven until golden brown. Then cool the workpieces.
Step 3
Grind the nuts using a coffee grinder. Larger pieces will not stick to the sticks, so this point is very important - the smaller the better.
Step 4
Let's start preparing the syrup. Place water, sugar and honey in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for a minute. It is necessary to evaporate all the water.
Step 5
Lubricate the prepared sticks with syrup. Lubricate in two stages, after the first time wait 5 minutes, then apply a new layer, so the sticks are sufficiently saturated.
Step 6
Sprinkle ground nuts on top of the syrup, squeeze them a little with your fingers and leave in this form for 5 minutes.
Step 7
It is best to serve puff pastry sticks in nuts on the day of cooking, as the dough will be harder on the following days.
