Potato sticks with cheese will appeal to everyone, without exception. This dish turns out to be very tender and incredibly tasty, and most importantly, for its preparation you need those products that are in almost every home.
It is necessary
- - medium-sized potatoes - 8 pcs.;
- - hard cheese - 100 g;
- - bread crumbs - 100-150 g;
- - eggs - 2 pcs.;
- - corn flour - 2 tablespoons;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the potatoes thoroughly, then place them in a pot of water and boil in their uniform until cooked. Then peel the boiled potatoes and chop them, grating them on a fine grater.
Step 2
Next, add one raw chicken egg along with salt to the potato mass. Use the salt to your liking. Mix everything as it should. Then pour wheat flour sifted with a sieve into the mixture. Knead the dough well. It should turn out to be quite elastic, soft and pleasant to the touch.
Step 3
Now, make a breading for future cheese potato sticks. Place a raw chicken egg whipped with salt in one of the cups, and breadcrumbs in the second.
Step 4
After pinching a small piece from the potato dough, knead it with your hands until a flat cake. Place a small block of hard cheese in the center. Wrap the filling with potato mass in such a way that you end up with a "stick". Do the same with the rest of the dough and cheese.
Step 5
Dip the resulting potato sticks with cheese first in a mixture of beaten egg and salt, then thoroughly roll in breadcrumbs. If you want your sticks to have a fairly thick crust, then do these procedures 2 or 3 times.
Step 6
Fry the breaded sticks in hot sunflower oil on all four sides until a golden crust forms.
Step 7
After blotting the dish with a paper towel, serve it to the table. The potato sticks with cheese are ready!
