Step 1

For the preparation of the dessert, we choose high quality prunes, pitted, dried, but not smoked. The fruits should be soaked in cold water for about 15 minutes to remove dust particles and, possibly, harmful compounds contained in dried fruits, with which the manufacturer may have treated prunes during the manufacturing process. Dry the fruits.

Step 2

Put the prepared prunes in a blender bowl, add raw seeds. You can choose hulled sunflower or pumpkin seeds, or use a mixture of seeds in proportions to taste and desire. Add coconut oil to this. The oil must be softened or liquid. Grind and mix everything together until smooth. Add flax seeds and mix thoroughly again.

Step 3

To prepare the filling, mix coconut flakes with water and coconut oil. This mixture should be refrigerated for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Divide the mass prepared on the basis of prunes into ten parts. Roll each into a ball. The ball will be about the size of a walnut. Flatten the ball into a thin flat cake with a small depression in the center. Put some filling, wrap and blind the edges. Form a rectangular bar from the resulting sausage on a flat, even surface.

Step 5

Roll the bars prepared in this way on all sides in a carob.

Prepare chocolate from the remaining carob and coconut oil. To do this, mix the softened oil with carob powder and heat in a steam bath. Dip the bars into the resulting chocolate icing and place them on the board. Put in the refrigerator to solidify.

Cooking one portion of sweets - 10 pieces - takes no more than half an hour, including the time for soaking the prunes and hardening the finished sweets.
