It is necessary

- - 1-2 onions;
- - 2 eggs:
- - 3 potatoes;
- - 3 carrots;
- - 300 g fresh champignons:

Step 1
For the salad, you need a large, medium-salted Atlantic herring. If the fish is very salty, soak it in milk first. Peel the herring, remove the entrails and separate the fillets from the bones. Chop the meat finely. If there was caviar or milk inside the fish, cut them too and mix with the meat.
Step 2
Peel the mushrooms and cut into thin strips. Fry in vegetable oil along with chopped onions. Transfer to a plate and set to cool.
Step 3
Boil the potatoes in the skins. Cool and peel, and then grate. Peel and grate the carrots, then fry them. Boil the eggs and separate the yolks. Put everything to cool.
Step 4
When all the food has cooled down, start making the flaky salad. Put the herring in the first layer, fried mushrooms and onions on top, then potatoes. Brush with mayonnaise. Next, lay out a layer of carrots and again a thin layer of mayonnaise. Sprinkle puff salad with herring with grated yolks and chopped herbs, set in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
