For cooking, prepare butter - 100 g, flour - 250 g, a tablespoon of sour cream, 100 g of powdered sugar, egg yolk and another egg for lubrication, half a teaspoon of vanilla sugar, food dyes.
Soften the oil, grind with powder. Add yolk, sour cream, vanilla there, you can add a little salt. Sift the flour. It is better to add it to the total mixture in small portions. You should get an elastic dough - you need to knead it until it stops sticking to your hands.
Divide the dough into two unequal parts. The smallest of them should be about a third of the total mass. Roll out the large one thinner, cover with foil and place in the refrigerator for an hour. Divide the smaller part into as many parts as you intend to use food coloring. Mix the dye with a portion of the dough and roll into thin strands. These will be pencil "rods". Put the prepared harnesses in the refrigerator too.
An hour later, we take out a layer of dough from the refrigerator. Brush it with a beaten egg and cut into strips 3 cm or more wide. Place the colored rod on the strip and roll it up more tightly. This must be done carefully so that the dough does not break, you can through the film. Spread a beaten egg over the pencils and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, the optimum temperature is 200 degrees. The finished pencils should be cooled, then lightly scraped with a knife so that they look like "sharpened".
