Step 1

In order to cook chicken in sour cream, take the carcass and rinse it well under water. For this dish, you need to choose fresh or chilled chicken, frozen poultry is also suitable, only it must be thawed in advance. After that, the chicken must be dried and set aside.

In a mortar or coffee grinder, crush the black peppercorns, mix it with salt, curry, paprika and turmeric. Rub the poultry well with this mixture and leave to marinate for a day.

After that, take a lemon and squeeze the juice out of it in the amount of one tablespoon, add sour cream and finely chopped herbs. You can take any greens, the main thing is that dill is one of its components, since it contains a large amount of essential oils that enhance the taste and aroma.

Boil the mushrooms in one liter of salted water over moderate heat for 25 minutes. Then fold in a colander or sieve and rinse with cold tap water. Pour vegetable oil into a pan and heat it over low heat. Fry the mushrooms in oil until tender and set aside to cool.

Next, take a piece of cheese and grate it on a fine grater, in a separate bowl, mix mushrooms, cheese and a tablespoon of sour cream. Stuff the bird with this mixture and sew the hole with thick threads. Since the filling turns out to be liquid, it is impractical to do this with the help of toothpicks, otherwise it will flow out during baking.

Place the chicken breast side up in a baking dish and cover 2/3 with the sour cream and lemon mixture you prepared earlier. Place the dish in the oven and bake the chicken for 50-60 minutes at 180 degrees.
