Apple pies have a wonderful aroma and taste of baked apples. They are considered baking classics. Properly prepared dough will also help make the dish special. Using cream as a base, you get a lush, juicy and very delicate dessert.

It is necessary

    • 50 g heavy cream;
    • 50 g butter;
    • 0.5 kg of apples;
    • 2 eggs;
    • 125 g sugar;
    • 125 g flour;
    • ½ tsp soda
    • slaked with vinegar;
    • vanilla sugar;
    • cinnamon.

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the apples and peel them. Core and cut into thin slices. Transfer the apples to a bowl, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, and stir well. Place the apples in a baking dish and place in an oven preheated to 190 degrees to bake for about 20 minutes. As a result, they will darken slightly and become softer. Then turn off the oven, remove the apples and set to cool.

Step 2

Combine butter and heavy cream in a saucepan and put on fire or microwave. Heat the mixture until the butter is melted. Beat two eggs into the fluffy mass, gradually adding sugar to them. Add the vinegar slaked baking soda to make the pie rise. Combine beaten eggs with vanilla sugar and sifted flour, stir until smooth. Pour cream and butter into the dough and mix well. You can add some cognac if you like.

Step 3

Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Place the baked apples in it, then fill them with the cooked dough. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and put the creamy apple pie in it for about 45 minutes until tender. The dough should rise and brown during this time. You can check the readiness of the cake with a thin wooden stick or knife: if it comes out dry, then you can turn off the oven.

Step 4

Make a creamy pie without baking the apples first. If this is the case, make a stiffer dough to keep the apples from sinking in, and place it in a baking dish, leaving some to garnish. Then place the apple slices mixed with sugar and cinnamon on top and cover them with thin strips of the remaining dough. Whisk the yolk and spread it over the top of the pie for a more appetizing crust.

Step 5

Sprinkle icing sugar on the cooled cake or garnish with cream. Cut into portions and serve with tea.
