Bread with tomatoes and herbs is a recipe from Turkish cuisine. The bread is very soft and airy. You will surprise your guests with such a dish.
It is necessary
- - 4 cups flour
- - 1 glass of water
- - 1 tbsp. l. granulated sugar
- - 7 g yeast
- - 70 ml of vegetable oil
- - 1 tsp. salt
- - 2 tomatoes
- - a bunch of dill
- - a bunch of parsley
- - 1 tsp. basil
- - 1 tsp. mint
- - chilli
Instructions
Step 1
Pour flour into a bowl. Rinse the greens and dry well. Stir granulated sugar and yeast in warm water. Set aside.
Step 2
Finely chop the herbs, pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the peel, remove the seeds and chop finely.
Step 3
Make a hole in the flour in the center, pour in the yeast and oil. Mix, gradually picking up flour from the edges.
Step 4
Add tomatoes, dried mint and basil, parsley with dill, salt, add chili if desired.
Step 5
Knead the dough well, periodically greasing your hands with oil. The dough will become sticky, but you don't need to add any more flour.
Step 6
Cover the dough with a towel and leave in a warm place for an hour. The dough will double in an hour.
Step 7
Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Spread out the dough, shape into any shape of bread. When forming bread, you need to grease your hands with butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds on the bread if you want. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Step 8
When the bread is ready, place it on a wire rack, cover with a towel and let cool. When the bread has cooled, it will be easy to cut.
