It is impossible to imagine a modern man's menu without potatoes. Potatoes are used in soups, salads, casseroles, side dishes, etc. Festive feasts and simple lenten meals cannot do without potatoes.

- onions - 2 pcs.,
- pressed yeast - 50 g,
- vegetable oil - 200 ml,
- granulated sugar - 5 tablespoons,
- potatoes -0.5 kg,
- garlic - 3 cloves,
- green onions - 100 g,
- salt - 2, 5 tsp,
- ground pepper - 0.5 tsp
Instructions
Step 1
Knead the dough in a deep bowl. Mix 1 teaspoon of salt and sugar. Combine half of the vegetable oil with this mixture and mix with ½ cup flour. Then pour a glass of boiling water into the resulting composition. Leave the contents to cool. Add yeast to the warm mass, after crumbling them. Next, pour in the rest of the warm water, stir. Add the rest of the sifted flour, knead the dough.
Step 2
Wash the potatoes, peel and boil. Peel the onion, cut into small cubes. Fry in hot vegetable oil.
Step 3
Mash the finished potatoes, add fried and chopped green onions to it. Season with salt and pepper with black pepper.
Step 4
Roll not very large cakes from the dough. Place the minced potatoes on each of them. Gently spread the potatoes on the surface of the dough, make small sides around the edge.
Step 5
Heat oil in a frying pan, fry potato cakes on both sides until golden brown.
Step 6
Prepare a mixture of pressed garlic and vegetable oil. Lubricate the finished cakes with this mass.
