Products made from yeast puff pastry are very tender, soft, crumbly and do not stale for a long time. This dough becomes very airy after baking. Yeast puff pastry can also be called yeast chopped puff pastry.

- dry yeast - 7 grams;
- salt - 1 teaspoon;
- milk - ½ cup;
- water - 1/3 cup;
- egg - 1 piece;
- sugar - 3 teaspoons.
Instructions
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in 1/3 cup warm water and add 1 teaspoon of sugar.
Step 2
Sift flour, mix with salt, the remaining sugar and chopped butter or margarine. Grind everything thoroughly, but do not allow the oil to soften completely. Better take frozen butter and grate on a coarse grater.
Step 3
Add the egg to the yeast water and shake well with a fork. Add enough warm milk to make the total volume - 1 glass of liquid.
Step 4
Pour the liquid into the flour mass and knead into a smooth dough. Add 1-2 tablespoons of water or a little flour if necessary. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1.5-2 hours.
Step 5
Shape the products, grease with an egg and bake at 180-200 degrees.
