If you get your hands on a cod fillet, but you have no idea what can be made from it, then the easiest option is to make mouth-watering fish cakes.
It is necessary
- - cod fillet 1 kg;
- - crab sticks 1 pack;
- - egg 2 pcs.;
- - onion 1 pc.;
- - potatoes 2-3 pcs.;
- - semolina 1 tablespoon;
- - garlic 2 tooth;
- - vegetable oil for frying;
- - pepper, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse and dry the cod fillets. Pass through a meat grinder. Peel the crab sticks from the film, chop in a meat grinder or finely chop, add to the minced meat. Peel potatoes, garlic and onions, wash and chop on a fine grater or pass through a meat grinder.
Step 2
Combine minced fish and vegetable, add eggs, cereals, season with pepper and salt. Mix the minced meat thoroughly and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Shape the minced meat into cutlets with wet hands. Place in a frying pan preheated with vegetable oil and fry on both sides until tender. If you wish, you can roll in breadcrumbs.
Step 4
Serve cod cutlets with chopped pickles and mayonnaise sauce. Garnish with rice, mashed potatoes or vegetable salad.
