The zucchini season is in full swing. I propose to bake delicious bread from this wonderful vegetable. I assure you that no one will even understand what this pastry is made of.
It is necessary
- - zucchini - 300 g;
- - onion - 1 pc.;
- - water - 200 ml;
- - sugar - 2 teaspoons;
- - salt - 1.5 teaspoon;
- - wheat flour - 520-550 g;
- - sunflower oil - 3 tablespoons;
- - dry yeast - 7 g.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, rinse the zucchini thoroughly under running water. Then, using a fine grater, chop it. Squeeze out excess juice from the resulting mass.
Step 2
Pour a dry mixture of yeast and granulated sugar in a glass of warm water. Mix everything as it should, that is, until the mixed ingredients are dissolved, then set aside in a warm enough place for about one quarter of an hour.
Step 3
Chop the peeled onions with a knife into rather small pieces, mix it with the squash mass, as well as the matched dough and sunflower oil. Then add salt and wheat flour there. Add wheat flour gradually, that is, as you knead. By the way, you can add any greens to the dough - it will perfectly complement the taste of squash bread.
Step 4
Form a round or oval loaf of soft, firm and non-stick dough. Place it on a baking sheet with parchment paper, brush with a little sunflower oil and leave in a warm place, covered with a towel, for about 40-45 minutes.
Step 5
Send the raised bread to the oven, after making transverse cuts on it, and bake it at 220 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Remember to lower the oven temperature to 180 degrees when the baked goods are golden brown.
Step 6
Cool the baked goods, then, after cutting, serve. Zucchini bread is ready!
