Regular chicken can turn into a real delicacy when baked in an Asian style with a delicious sweet and sour sauce.
It is necessary
- - 500 gr. chicken fillet;
- - salt and black pepper;
- - 60 gr. corn starch;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 60 ml of vegetable oil.
- For sweet and sour sauce:
- - 150 gr. Sahara;
- - 120 ml of apple cider vinegar;
- - 60 gr. classic ketchup;
- - 15 ml of soy sauce;
- - half a teaspoon of garlic powder
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 160C. Grease the baking dish with oil. Mix all the ingredients for the sweet and sour sauce and set it aside.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into small pieces and place in a bowl. Salt and pepper to taste, add starch and gently mix the pieces.
Step 3
Beat eggs in a bowl, heat oil in a frying pan. Dip each piece of chicken in beaten eggs and send it to the pan for just 1-2 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Step 4
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, pour sweet and sour sauce.
Step 5
We send the baking sheet to the oven for 55 minutes, stir the chicken pieces every 15 minutes so that they are evenly covered with sauce.
Step 6
Serve the chicken immediately after cooking. You can use rice as a side dish, and finely chopped green onions and sesame seeds as decoration.
