To cook royally pork, you will need the following ingredients: 500 g of pork fillet, 500 g of potatoes, 2 medium-sized onion heads, 200 g of mushrooms, 200 g of hard cheese, 100 g of canned pineapple, 100 g of olives, 200 g of sour cream.

There are many ways to cook royally pork. Most of them suggest pre-marinating the meat. Sour cream and tomato paste or adjika are mixed in equal proportions and the pieces of pork are carefully coated with the prepared sauce. The meat should be marinated within a few hours. Then it is washed in running water and dried with paper towels.

For cooking, it is advisable to choose pieces of pork with small fat inclusions. The ideal option is to use a pork neck.

Royal pork recipe

Pieces of pork, approximately equal in size, are beaten off, rubbed with salt, ground black pepper and your favorite spices. Potato tubers are washed in running water and peeled. You can cut potatoes into circles, up to 0.5 cm thick.

The husks are removed from the onions and the vegetable is chopped into small cubes. Canned pineapple and olives are cut into small pieces.

A baking dish is greased with vegetable oil. Put potatoes on the bottom of the mold in an even layer. Pork is placed on the potatoes. Next comes a layer of olives and onions. The next layer is formed from thinly sliced mushrooms and pineapple pieces. The surface of the dish is generously greased with sour cream and sprinkled with coarsely grated cheese.

The oven is heated to 180-200 ° C. The form is put on the middle level. Cooking pork royally in the oven will take about 40 minutes. About 10 minutes before the end of cooking, sprinkle the dish with finely chopped dill.

Often, pork is royally prepared with a potato fur coat. In this case, the potatoes previously boiled in salted water are rubbed on a coarse grater and placed on top of all layers. It turns out an interesting fur coat that allows you to get a fairly juicy dish and meat, saturated with the aroma of ingredients as much as possible.

Sour cream is smeared with a layer of mushrooms and pineapples. Sprinkle cheese on the surface of the potatoes. After baking, the potatoes will have a pleasant appearance due to the presence of a crispy golden crust.
