An unusual recipe for the classic Caesar salad. It combines juicy crispy chicken, aromatic bacon and a delicate lean sauce. And the usual square croutons have been replaced in this recipe with crispy baguette breads. All the ingredients of the salad are prepared very quickly, the whole process takes about 20 minutes.

It is necessary

  • - 2 chicken breasts (fillets);
  • - 1 forks of romano salad;
  • - 1 baguette;
  • - 200 g cherry tomatoes;
  • - 4 slices of bacon;
  • - 50 g parmesan;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of bread crumbs;
  • - 1 teaspoon of ground paprika;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of olive oil;
  • - salt pepper.
  • For the sauce:
  • - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of low-fat yogurt (or low-fat sour cream);
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of balsamic vinegar;
  • - 8 pcs. fillet of anchovies;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of Worcester sauce;
  • - 1 teaspoon of English mustard;
  • - 1 clove of garlic;
  • - 50 g parmesan;
  • - a bunch of fresh basil;
  • - 2 lemons;
  • - salt pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

Place the chicken fillet on parchment paper. Season the fillets with salt, pepper and paprika and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Roll the meat well in spices, and then cover it with paper and beat lightly. This will make the chicken soaked in spices and cook faster.

Step 2

Put the fillets in a preheated frying pan with olive oil and fry on each side, depending on the thickness of the piece, for 5-7 minutes.

Cut 4 thick pieces of baguette and grill them in a pan without oil for about a minute on each side. Grate the finished croutons with half a clove of garlic.

To make the salad dressing, use a blender to combine low fat yogurt, balsamic vinegar, anchovy fillets, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, basil, garlic, two lemon juice, and parmesan. As a result, the sauce should have a uniform consistency.
