Liver cake with herbs is a great option for a picnic snack. Delicious and satisfying, and most importantly, easy to prepare.
It is necessary
- - 1 kg of beef liver
- - 5 eggs
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of flour
- - 1 glass of milk
- - 200 g of hard cheese
- - parsley, green onion, dill
- - mayonnaise
- - garlic
- - pickle
Instructions
Step 1
Pass the raw liver through a meat grinder. Add flour, eggs, milk and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the resulting minced meat. Beat until smooth. Bake in a pan like pancakes until golden brown. To make the cake not too tall, 7-9 layers will be enough. Try not to make the cakes thick, ideally 2-3 mm each.
Step 2
For the filling, mix mayonnaise, finely chopped herbs and garlic. Spread this cream between the resulting cakes. Leave some mixture to decorate the top. For a more delicate taste, you can add finely grated cheese to the cream. Put thinly sliced pickled cucumber slices on top of the cream before placing the last crust.
Step 3
Smear the top crust and sides of the resulting cake. It is better to let stand for 1-1.5 hours before use so that the cakes are thoroughly soaked in the cream. Sprinkle with herbs before serving. Decorate the sides with parsley leaves.
