This recipe is from a series of classic, "grandmother's" recipes: everything seems to be so simple, but it turns out - you will lick your fingers!
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 2.5-3 cups flour;
- - a couple of pinches of salt;
- - 4 tsp Sahara;
- - 200 g of cold butter;
- - 10 tbsp. ice water.
- For filling:
- - 800-1000 g cherries;
- - 4 tablespoons corn starch;
- - 6 tbsp. Sahara;
- - 60 g butter.
Instructions
Step 1
Mix flour with sugar and salt. Add cold butter and chop all ingredients into crumbs with a knife. Then begin to gradually add water, kneading the dough, which could be rolled into a ball.
Step 2
Send the resulting ball to the refrigerator for half an hour.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 220 degrees.
Step 4
Remove the seeds from the cherries and in a large bowl, mix the berries with starch and sugar (you can use brown if you like).
Step 5
Separate the fifth part from the dough to form a "lattice". Roll out the rest of the dough and put in a large form, forming the sides.
Step 6
Put the filling on top of the dough. Cut 60 g butter into small pieces and spread over the cherry layer.
Step 7
Roll out the deferred part of the dough and cut into strips. Cover the cake with them, forming a "mesh" and send to the hot oven for 30 minutes. If the cake starts to brown a lot, you just need to cover it with foil.
Step 8
Cool the baked goods without removing from the mold, and only then cut into portions.
