There are many recipes for making cheesecake, but we suggest you make a very simple but delicious American banana cheesecake. It is prepared with the addition of lemon, raisins and whiskey - it turns out very aromatic.
It is necessary
- For ten servings:
- - 850 g of Philadelphia cheese;
- - 350 ml cream 30% fat;
- - 250 g of sugar;
- - 1 sponge cake base;
- - 10 bananas;
- - 3 eggs;
- - 2 lemons;
- - 3 tbsp. spoons of raisins, whiskey, cornstarch;
- - 1, 5 teaspoons of vanilla essence;
- - butter, maple syrup, peppermint.
Instructions
Step 1
Put the raisins in a small bowl and soak in whiskey for 20 minutes. Lubricate the split form with butter. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Step 2
Place the biscuit base on the bottom of the mold. Drain the liquid from the raisins, sprinkle it over the biscuit. Mix the starch with 200 g of sugar.
Step 3
Peel 10 small bananas. Melt butter and 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar, fry the bananas until caramelized. Cool, cut into rings.
Step 4
Put cheese in another bowl, add vanilla, juice, raisins, eggs, lemon zest, cream. Stir, add dry ingredients and half of the bananas, mix everything, pour the mixture into the mold.
Step 5
Pour 3 mm of warm water onto a baking sheet, place the mold. In this case, the water will create steam during baking. Cook 50 minutes until golden brown. The filling in the middle should remain watery. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and cool without removing it from the mold.
Step 6
Then remove the American banana cheesecake from the pan, cut into slices, garnish with the remaining bananas, drizzle with maple syrup. You can additionally garnish with fresh mint leaves.
