The pies are delicious and flavorful. It is this baked goods that are increasingly preferred by hostesses. Peach Pie is easy to prepare. It has a crunchy base saturated with the most delicate cream, and the peach filling gives the cake an exquisite taste. Evening tea can be turned into a holiday, just put a delicious dessert on the table.
It is necessary
- For the basics:
- - 120 g butter or margarine;
- - 240 g flour;
- - 3-4 tbsp. water;
- - a pinch of salt (preferably sea salt).
- For filling:
- - 6-8 ripe peaches;
- - 4 tablespoons apple or apricot jam.
- For the cream:
- - 120 g butter;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 1 tbsp. flour;
- - 50 g of chopped almonds;
- - 100 g of icing sugar;
- - a little cinnamon;
- - 2 tbsp. l. warm low-fat milk.
- For decoration:
- - almond flakes;
- - icing sugar;
- - chopped peanuts.
Instructions
Step 1
Preparing the base for the shortbread cake. All ingredients and dough board should be chilled. Grind flour (preferably sifted) and butter until crumbly. Add a pinch of salt to the dry mixture. Pour in three or four tablespoons of water (look at the consistency) and knead the soft dough. You do not need to stir for a long time, otherwise the dough will lose its tenderness and softness. We form a ball, which we wrap in a film or bag. We leave the dough in the refrigerator for about half an hour or an hour.
Step 2
Roll out a ball of dough into a cake and put it in a baking dish. The dough in the mold should be positioned so that high sides are formed. We pierce the dough with a fork in two or three places so that steam comes out during baking.
Step 3
Lubricate the base with apricot or apple jam. You can use thick jam instead of jam. You do not need to grease the sides with jam.
Step 4
We wash the peaches, dry them with napkins or a towel, cut in half and peel them. We spread the peaches over the jam.
Step 5
Cooking pie cream. The cream is made very simply. In a bowl, grind the chilled butter with icing sugar. Add an egg (room temperature), stir and drive in another. Beat the eggs lightly. Mix, add a tablespoon of flour, almonds, a little ground cinnamon (to taste) and warm, but not hot milk. Stir well again and cover the peaches with cream. Sprinkle the peach pie with almond flakes.
Step 6
We bake for 20 minutes, after which we take out the cake and lower the temperature in the oven to 160 degrees. Carefully cover the cake tin with foil and bake for another 90 minutes.
Step 7
Remove the foil from the baked peach pie, and leave the dessert aside to cool. Decorate with sugar or vanilla powder, serve in portions with warm pieces for fragrant evening tea. Sprinkle the cake with chopped peanuts or almonds if desired.
