Unusual and bright rolls will decorate any festive table. At the same time, beet rolls are easy to prepare, and the ingredients can be purchased at any store.
It is necessary
- For pancakes;
- - 200 ml of beet juice (this will require 3 beets);
- - 1 egg;
- - 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil;
- - 60 grams of rye flour;
- - 1 teaspoon of sugar;
- - 1/2 teaspoon of salt;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 tablespoon vinegar 6%.
- For filling:
- -150 g soft curd cheese (for example, Philadelphia);
- - 150 gr. fillet of herring (red fish);
- - lettuce leaves;
- - salt;
- - greens (dill, parsley).
Instructions
Step 1
Boil the beets, grate finely and squeeze the beetroot juice through cheesecloth.
Step 2
Add the egg, vegetable oil, salt, sugar, garlic and vinegar to the beet juice. Beat the resulting composition with a mixer or whisk. Add flour and mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Bake thin pancakes from the resulting mass.
Step 4
Mix curd cheese with garlic and herbs.
Step 5
Grease each pancake with curd mass and roll into a roll.
Step 6
Cut the rolls obliquely into small circles.
Step 7
Put the lettuce on a plate, top with the beetroot rolls. Place a piece of herring or red fish on each.
