This simple recipe allows you to make a delicious cream roll with strawberries. Instead of strawberries, you can take other berries: raspberries, apricots, peaches, etc. It uses the classic biscuit dough, which is easy to prepare and airy.
It is necessary
- Eggs - 3 pcs.,
- sugar - 200 g,
- flour - 90 g
- cream 30% - 250 g,
- vanilla sugar - 1 sachet,
- strawberries - 200 g
- icing sugar for decoration.
Instructions
Step 1
Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the whites with a mixer until a thick foam is obtained. Then add 60 g of granulated sugar and beat until firm peaks. We also add 60 g of sugar to the yolks, then beat them until almost white.
Step 2
In a deep bowl, combine the whites with the yolks. Sift 90 g of flour there. Mix with careful movements from bottom to top, making sure that the proteins do not settle.
Step 3
Distribute the resulting dough evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. You should get an even rectangle with a thickness of 5-10 mm. We place it in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for about 10 minutes, until golden brown.
Step 4
Take the finished cake out of the oven, separate it from the baking paper. Then we put it on paper (you can on the same one) with the top side down and roll it up with it into a roll. We leave on the table at room temperature. While the cake is cooling, you can prepare the filling.
Step 5
My strawberries, remove the "tails", cut out their attachment points. Cut the berries in half or into several medium-sized slices. Combine the cream with the remaining sugar, add a bag of vanilla sugar and beat with a mixer until firm foam.
Step 6
Free the cooled cake from the paper and put the inside side up. Apply a layer of cream evenly, spread the strawberry slices on top of it.
Step 7
We roll up the roll and put it on a dish. Sprinkle the roll with powdered sugar on top and decorate with strawberries.
