Ingredients:

  • 0.5 kg fresh salmon fillet;
  • a couple of teaspoons of soy sauce;
  • half a lime (can be replaced with lemon);
  • 300 g cream cheese;
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ medium-sized onion;
  • ½ cup of cream;
  • pepper, salt and fresh herbs - pinch each.

Preparation:

  1. Fish fillets must be carefully checked so that there are no bones in it. Remove the skin from it gently. After that, using a sharp knife, the salmon is cut into thin slices.
  2. Further, using the same knife, the slices must be cut into very small cubes. In this case, it is very important to take into account that the fish must be cut with a knife, and not chopped in any other way. In this case, the mass will turn out to be quite tender, but the pieces of fish will still be felt, which will give the taste of the finished dish unique notes.
  3. Then you need to remove the husk from ½ part of the onion and cut it into small cubes. Next, all the juice is squeezed out from the half of the lime. If you want the appetizer to have a more piquant sour taste, then you can take a slightly larger amount of juice.
  4. In a separate small cup, mix citrus juice, olive oil, and soy sauce. After that, the salmon is mixed with chopped onions, pepper, salt, and the resulting sauce are added to this mass. Everything mixes well.
  5. Finely chopped greens are placed in the fish mass. The fish should be covered with foil or a lid and placed in a cool place (preferably in the refrigerator) for at least 3 hours in order for it to marinate.
  6. To prepare the filling, you will need to put the cream cheese in a deep bowl and send cream, salt, pepper and some finely chopped greens there. Everything gets mixed up.
  7. The appetizer is served with a special serving ring. A thin layer of fish is placed at the bottom of the plate, and on top of it is cheese filling. Red caviar is perfect for decoration.
