Step 1

Add vanilla sugar along with granulated sugar to the butter-flour crumbs. Pour the beer there. If you don't want to use beer to make these cookies, you can replace it with sparkling mineral water. Mix everything as it should. Send the resulting dough to the refrigerator for 60 minutes.

After the time has passed, remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide it so that you end up with 24 equal pieces. Then roll each part in the shape of a rope, the length of which is 10 centimeters.

Thoroughly roll the strands obtained from the dough in brown sugar. If not, you can use white granulated sugar. After fixing the ends of the tourniquet, place the formed figures on a baking tray at some distance from each other. Place the future Torchetti cookies in the oven, the temperature of which is 180 degrees, and cook it for 15-20 minutes.

Cool the baked goods on a wire rack, then serve with tea. The Torchetti cookies are ready!
