- For the poppy seed filling:
- - 250 g poppy seeds;
- - 6 tbsp. l. honey;
- - 50 g of raisins;
- - 3 tbsp. l. cognac or rum;
- - 2 eggs.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to make the dough, you need to mix flour, sugar and baking powder. The resulting mass must be mixed with butter until wet crumbs are formed.
Step 2
Next, you need to beat well the vanilla sugar with eggs and zest of 1 lemon. Oily crumbs must be thoroughly mixed with a mass of eggs and an elastic and elastic dough is prepared. The prepared dough should be put in a bag and refrigerated for 30 minutes.
Step 3
In order to prepare the cottage cheese filling, you need to mix the cottage cheese with sugar, eggs and pre-melted butter. Add the zest of 1 lemon. Beat this mass thoroughly until a fluffy homogeneous mass is obtained.
Step 4
To prepare the filling with poppy seeds, you need to pour the raisins with cognac or rum. Pour boiling water over the poppy seeds for 5 minutes, then drain the water and grind the swollen poppy seeds in a coffee grinder or blender. In a bowl, combine poppy seeds, raisins and honey and put on fire until it boils. This mass must be cooled. Beat eggs well.
Step 5
Grease the previously prepared form with butter and put part of the dough on it so that about 5 cm of dough remains on the sides of the form. Put a mass of cottage cheese and poppy seeds on the dough.
Step 6
The dough that remains must be rolled out and cut into strips 2 cm wide and put in the form of a lattice on the pie with filling. The cake must be baked in the oven for 40-50 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
