Rolls can be made not only from rice and fish, but also from the more familiar products for the housewives of our country - buckwheat and bacon. This dish will surprise and delight your guests.

  • - 300 grams of buckwheat;
  • - 150 grams of bacon;
  • - 1 large fresh cucumber;
  • - 2 sheets of nori;
  • - mayonnaise.

Instructions

Step 1

The nori sheet should be laid out neatly on the bamboo mat, shiny side down. And then slightly moisten it on top with warm water so that it softens and becomes more pliable to roll.

Step 2

Boil buckwheat until tender, without adding milk or butter to the cereal. It is enough just to add salt and a little sugar to it to taste.

Step 3

Pour buckwheat on a sheet of algae in a thin layer, and grease it with mayonnaise on top. Any mayonnaise sauce can be used.

Step 4

Now it's time to lay out the filling - fresh cucumber and small pieces of bacon, cut into long strips, are placed on the buckwheat. If desired, the meat can be lightly fried in a pan or grill beforehand.

Next, the nori sheet is carefully rolled into a roll along with the mat and all the filling. Folding is carried out according to the same principle as when preparing regular rolls.

Step 6

The resulting long roll must be carefully shaped and tamped, and then cut into 2 equal parts. Cut each half into 3 more pieces. Thus, a portion of "buckwheat" rolls per person is obtained from one sheet of nori.
