Cheese balls with nuts make a great cold snack. The dish is prepared very simply and relatively quickly. The indicated amount of ingredients is enough for 12 servings.
It is necessary
- - suluguni cheese - 250 g;
- - hard cheese - 80 g;
- - soft processed cheese - 100 g;
- - pistachios - 200 g;
- - walnuts - 100 g;
- - ground red pepper - a pinch;
- - sherry - 2 tbsp. l.
Instructions
Step 1
Finely chop the suluguni cheese. Grate hard cheese. Combine suluguni and grated cheese, add processed cheese and beat with a mixer.
Step 2
Peel pistachios and walnuts. Coarsely chop the pistachios with a knife. Grind the walnuts with a blender until finely crumbled.
Step 3
Add pistachios to the cheese mixture, salt and pepper, add wine. Mix well. Form a bar with a diameter of 2-3 cm from the curd.
Step 4
Cover the work surface with cling film and sprinkle the crumbs of walnuts (the thickness of the layer of nuts should be at least 0.5 cm). Roll the prepared cheese bar on the work surface so that as many nuts as possible stick to the cheese mass. Put the finished nut and cheese bar in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Cut the bar into small pieces before serving. Roll the pieces in the chopped walnuts again on all sides, making the pieces into a ball. The dish is ready! Bon Appetit!
