The simplicity of preparation and the availability of ingredients allow this appetizer to be prepared in just a few minutes and at any time of the year. The absence of the need to pre-fry the eggplants in oil makes this dish less nutritious and more useful.
It is necessary
- - 3 eggplants
- - 100 g of cheese (any hard cheese will do)
- - 100 g almonds
- - 10 fresh mint leaves
- - 1 tablespoon bread crumbs
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the eggplants into slices lengthwise. Their thickness should be no more than 5 mm. Dissolve salt in water (at the rate of 1 tablespoon to 0.5 liters of water). Place the eggplants in a cup and cover them with salted water. Let them sit for 20 minutes. So you will do two things at the same time: let the eggplants be salted and you will certainly get rid of the bitterness.
Step 2
Place the eggplant slices on a baking sheet in one layer and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 5 minutes. The eggplant slices should dry out a little, do not bake too much, otherwise it will be difficult to roll them into a roll.
Step 3
Chop cheese, almonds and mint. Combine these ingredients by adding the breadcrumbs. Put the resulting mixture on the eggplant slices. Roll them into rolls. So that the rolls do not open during the further baking, chop them off with a skewer. Place the rolls in the oven. Bake for 7-10 minutes, just melt the cheese a little.
