- - cod - 800 g;
- - canned tomatoes - 450 g;
- - one red onion;
- - two carrots;
- - chili pepper - 1 piece;
- - Bay leaf;
- - three cloves of garlic;
- - lemon juice - 1/4 cup;
- - vegetable oil, sugar, parsley - to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse fish fillets, pat dry. Cut into small pieces. Peel the carrots and onions, cut into thin slices. Peel chili peppers from seeds, cut into thin rings.
Step 2
Place half of the fish in a deep skillet and place half of the vegetables and bay leaf on top. Then the next layer of fish and vegetables, a few bay leaves.
Step 3
Grind the tomatoes in a blender. Add vegetable oil, sugar, salt. Pour the resulting tomato puree over the fish and vegetables. Bring to a boil, cook over high heat for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Peel the garlic, grind in a mortar with fresh parsley, add a pinch of sugar, pour in lemon juice. Place fish on a platter, season with aromatic sauce.
