Pommes "Anna" is translated from French as "Anna potatoes". The dish was invented back in 1870 by the French chef Adolphe Dugler in honor of the famous courtesan Anna Delion. Thanks to the butter, the potatoes are very tender and crispy.
It is necessary
- - 400 g potatoes
- - salt, pepper to taste
- - 30 g melted butter
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the potatoes well first, then peel them.
Step 2
Pour cold water into a saucepan, put potatoes, salt to taste. Put on fire and bring to a boil. After boiling, cook for another 3-5 minutes and remove from heat.
Step 3
Drain the water through a colander, cool the potatoes. Cut into thin circles.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish with butter. Put the potatoes in this way: put a circle of potatoes in the middle, lay out the following plates with an overlap, like flower petals. Add the first layer and season with salt and pepper to taste. Then lay out the second layer, salt and pepper. Continue doing this until the end of the form.
Step 5
Melt the butter and pour over the potatoes. Place in a preheated oven to 180 degrees and bake until golden brown, about 1 hour. Remove from oven, turn potatoes and serve.
