Mackerel is a rather popular fish on our tables. We are used to eating it salted, smoked, pickled, and also baked. We bring to your attention a rather unconventional way of preparing this delicious fish - stuffing with an egg-cheese mixture. Try it!
It is necessary
- - Fresh frozen mackerel - 2 carcasses;
- - Eggs - 2 pcs.;
- - Cheese (grade "Cheddar") - 50 g;
- - Dry mustard - 15 g;
- - Lemon - half;
- - Salt, pepper, parsley - the taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil the eggs in salted water. Cool and chop finely.
Step 2
Rub the cheddar on a grater with fine holes.
Step 3
Wash the lemon and carefully remove the zest with a special grater. Squeeze out the juice separately.
Step 4
Finely chop the greens.
Step 5
In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the minced meat: eggs, herbs, cheese, lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper, add dry mustard and lemon juice.
Step 6
Peel the fish, remove the entrails, rinse thoroughly. We make 3 deep cuts on the carcass diagonally.
Step 7
We fill the fish with the filling, distributing it over the entire abdomen.
Step 8
We wrap each mackerel in foil and place in the oven to bake for 25 minutes at 180 ° C.
Step 9
We unfold the finished fish, cut into portions and serve. Bon Appetit!
