The recipe for the cake is based on the classic preparation of a honey cake, however, caramel gives it a special taste of childhood, felt by every fiber of the soul. The preparation of this cake is not easy, however, believe me, it is worth the effort.
It is necessary
- -3 glasses of flour;
- -1 cup of sugar;
- -2 chicken eggs;
- -2 tablespoons of butter (can be substituted with margarine); water and honey.
- -1 teaspoon of baking soda.
- To prepare the cream you will need:
- -750 g sour cream;
- -¾ a glass of sugar;
- -A little vanilla sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour honey into a cauldron and start boiling it. After bringing the honey to a boil, add sugar, water, salt and soda to the cauldron, do not forget to mix everything thoroughly. We turn down the heat and stir constantly.
Step 2
You need to cook until the mass begins to acquire a caramel consistency and a dark color. It does not take much time. As soon as you see that the mass has begun to solidify like caramel, turn off the heat and set the iron to cool.
Step 3
Add eggs and flour to the mass, not forgetting to stir constantly. The dough should turn out to be a little liquid, but in no case should you add more flour! Now you need to leave the dough for 2 hours.
Step 4
After the time has elapsed, knead the dough and divide it into 8 pieces (about 25 cm in diameter).
Step 5
Now you need to roll out each separated piece of dough (but you need to roll out a little more than the diameter you want to get) and bake them in the oven until you see a golden hue.
Step 6
After you take the cakes out of the oven, you need to cut them off (it is better to use a plate). Knead all the rest into crumbs.
Step 7
To make a cream - mix all the ingredients and whisk them well. Each cake should be generously greased with cream. Do not forget to anoint the sides of the cake and the top with cream, and sprinkle it with small crumbs from the cakes.
