  • 125 grams of semolina,
  • half a lemon
  • 500 grams of cottage cheese,

Instructions

Step 1

We wash and peel the apples. Cut the peeled apples into small pieces.

Put the cottage cheese in a large bowl, knead it with a fork.

Separate the yolks from the whites carefully.

Cut off the zest from half of the lemon, grind it in a coffee grinder.

Mix the yolks with sugar (preferably cane sugar) and ground lemon zest, mix in a blender. Pour the resulting mass into cottage cheese. Add semolina mixed with baking powder to the curd.

Step 5

Add a pinch of salt and a little lemon juice to the proteins, beat with a mixer. Gently add the proteins to the curd bowl and start kneading the dough.

Mix the prepared apples into the resulting dough.

Smear a baking dish with a little melted butter. Pour the curd dough into the mold, lay the apple slices on top of the dough in random order.

Step 8

Set the temperature to 200 degrees on the oven, heat it up.

We put the form with curd dough and apples in the oven and bake for half an hour. Before removing the casserole from the oven, you need to check the readiness. If the casserole is ready, then we take it out of the oven, cover it with a towel and leave it for half an hour. Serve on the table in portions.
