Step 1

In order to cook a hodgepodge with potatoes, first of all take the beef, rinse it well under running water and dry it. Then cut the meat into small pieces and fry in a pan in a little vegetable oil until golden brown.

Step 2

Take onions and carrots. Peel the vegetables and rinse, then cut the carrots into strips, finely chop the onion. Add vegetables to the meat, they should be fried too.

Take a large saucepan and add all the ingredients to it. Next, cut the pickles into small pieces and add them to your hodgepodge. Season the hodgepodge with tomato paste and cover with water, salt and pepper to taste.

Bring the soup to a simmer over medium heat. Cut the olives into thin rings and put them on the hodgepodge. Leave the soup for 30-60 minutes to steep well.
