  • - 2 tbsp. l. sunflower oil
  • - 1 tsp cumin
  • - 1 onion, cut into thin half rings
  • - 2 tbsp. l. curry powder
  • - 200 g chopped canned tomatoes
  • - 1 stick of cinnamon
  • - 350 ml vegetable broth
  • - 450 g small young potatoes (cut the tubers in half and boil)
  • - 300 g broccoli
  • - salt
  • - 100 ml low fat yoghurt
  • - cakes for serving

Instructions

Step 1

Heat oil in a wok or large skillet. Fry cumin and onions over high heat for 3-4 minutes. Add curry. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, then add the tomatoes, cinnamon and broth.

Step 2

Bring to a boil, add potatoes and broccoli. Cover, reduce heat, and cook, stirring regularly, for 8-10 minutes, until broccoli begins to soften.

Step 3

Season with salt to taste and pour over with yogurt.

Serve with tortillas.
