Kish is an open pie from sunny France, the main principle of which is: a shortbread base on which everything in the refrigerator is laid out, plus egg-based filling … Today, canned saury will become the filling for baking. Believe it or not, this is delicious!
It is necessary
- The foundation:
- - 75 g butter;
- - 150 g flour;
- - 150 g sour cream 25%;
- - 3/4 tsp baking powder;
- - 0.5 tsp salt.
- For filling:
- - 100 g sour cream;
- - 2 medium eggs;
- - 1 tbsp. flour;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - 250 g of canned saury in its own juice;
- - greens (dill) and black pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
We take the oil out of the refrigerator in advance to make it soft. Sift the flour with baking powder and salt into a separate bowl. Then we mix the butter with sour cream and, stirring in the dry ingredients, knead the dough. We line the form with parchment and lay it out with dough, forming the sides. We put it in the refrigerator for an hour.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. We take out the dough from the refrigerator, prick it with a fork so that it does not swell, and send it to the hot oven for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Drain the liquid from the saury and knead it with a fork right in the jar. To pour with a mixer, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, sour cream, flour and pepper to taste. If we use, then at this stage we chop the greens.
Step 4
We take out the base from the oven, evenly spread saury on it, sprinkle it with herbs and fill everything with eggs. We return to the oven for another 20 minutes.
