  • Filling:
  • - tomato sauce - 200 ml;
  • - Mozzarella cheese - 200 g;
  • - salami sausage - 50-60 g;
  • - ham - 100 g;
  • - egg - 1 piece;
  • - oregano - 1 teaspoon.
  • For the test:
  • - warm water - 200 ml;
  • - dry yeast - 1/4 teaspoon;
  • - sugar or honey - 1 tablespoon;
  • - salt - 2 teaspoons;
  • - olive oil - 2 tablespoons;
  • - flour - 600 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Combine sugar, warm water and dry yeast in one bowl. Do not touch this mixture until it starts to bubble. Then mix the resulting dough with olive oil and salt. Mix thoroughly.

Step 2

Gradually add the sifted flour to the resulting mixture, stirring constantly. This way, you should have a dough that doesn't stick to your hands. Place it in a greased deep-bottomed bowl and set aside, covered with a towel, for about 1-1.5 hours.

Step 3

Half of the resulting dough is enough to make pizza, so divide it into 2 equal parts. Roll one of them with a rolling pin so that a rectangular layer is formed, the size of which is 25 x 40 centimeters.

Step 4

Please note that all the ingredients that are needed for the filling of the dish must be placed about 6-7 centimeters from the edge, and on each side. Put the tomato sauce first, then the grated cheese. Next, place the sliced ham and salami sausage. Season with oregano. Beat the egg a little and brush the free edges of the dough with it.

Step 5

Roll the dough with the filling laid out on it along the narrow edge in the form of a roll. Place as it is on a greased baking sheet. Grease the top of the dish with an egg and pour the rest of the grated cheese onto it. Then take a knife and use it to make transverse cuts on the roll at the same distance.

Step 6

Preheat the oven to a temperature of 250 degrees and send the pizza into it for about 10-12 minutes. "Stromboli" is ready!
